Overall Objectives of Job:

• Provide expert architectural and technical consultancy for BMP asset development and rollout, ensuring alignment with Allianz application and technology standards.
• Work together with technical leads and IT Architects, to technically lead the different Agile teams and coordinating with their direct report the definition of IT Standards based on global IT strategy, architecture framework and standards and technical integrity of components.
• Design effective solutions to meet business requirements, utilizing knowledge of BMP platforms, including ACM processes, and adhering to Allianz standards.
• Offer technical expertise and support to teams using key BMP technology tools such as Java Microservices, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and Kafka, while staying updated with the latest technology trends.
• Ensure the quality of deliverables by implementing BMP practices in projects and conducting regular reviews and audits to maintain high standards.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with various stakeholders, including product owners, scrum masters, and developers, facilitating communication and collaboration to ensure project success.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance BMP architecture and development practices, while mentoring and guiding team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Demonstrate proven experience in architectural design and consultancy within BMP environments, with strong knowledge of BMP platforms, ACM processes, and Allianz technology standards, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualification & Experience-

10-15 years of relevant experience in software development

• Minimum 3 years of experience as technical architect, expertise with lead application

development with internal team and vendor.

• Expertise in architecting solution for Non-Functional Requirements like security, performance,

availability and scalability

• Leads and supports solution finding and the creation of solution designs

Technical (e.g. Coding (Java), Testing (Unit))-

• Experience in Cloud technologies (AWS or Azure) and Container

Runtime platform deployments.

• Experience with and hands-on know-how on modern web

Functional / Domain (e.g. Underwriting, Claims Mgmt.)

? Participate in Sprint 0, PI planning and conduct demo to

stakeholders.

? Demonstrate good judgment and a pragmatic approach to

delivering software that optimizes architecture activities across

company needs, business constraints, and technological realities.

? Familiar with Agile (Scrum) /iterative project methodology and

practices

Business / Client Engagement (e.g. Marketing, Consulting)

? Exhibit strong presentation and communication skills.

? Willingness to travel to client locations as required.
