Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior MS SQL Developer with strong expertise in data warehousing, ELT/ETL processes, and advanced SQL development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining robust data warehouse solutions, optimizing query performance, and supporting production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse schemas (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema) including fact and dimension tables.
• Build and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT).
• Develop and maintain stored procedures, user-defined functions, and triggers to support business needs.
• Perform query performance tuning, indexing, and partitioning to ensure efficient data retrieval.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, efficient data warehouse solutions.
• Support production environments by troubleshooting SQL and ETL failures, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• (Optional) Utilize BI tools like Power BI or scripting languages such as Python for data visualization or automation.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
• Expertise in data warehouse design including Star and Snowflake schemas.
• Proficient in dimensional modeling and managing fact and dimension tables.
• Extensive experience in ETL/ELT processes and complex SQL query writing.
• Skilled in query tuning, indexing, partitioning, and performance optimization.
• Experience in developing and maintaining stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Ability to work independently and in a team to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to data quality and performance.

Preferred (Good-to-Have):

• Familiarity with Power BI, Python, or other BI and scripting tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Education:

• Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
