Experience required : 8-12 years

Job Description:

• Experience as a DB2 (on z/OS) Database Administrator
• Working knowledge of DB2 Internals, fundaments, installations and operations
• Working knowledge of DB2 Data Sharing in Parallel Sysplex environment
• Knowledge of Systems Performance Tuning and Capacity Planning
• Knowledge of security interface with DB2 & Experience with SMP/E and UserMods
• Experience with installation and using DB2 ISV Products, Strong z/OS, USS and JCL skills
• REXX, HTML and/or java coding ability, CICS/DB2
• Knowledge of interfacing with and installing OEM vendor tools
• Disaster Recovery Planning and support
• Proficiency in DB2 Systems Performance Tuning and Capacity Planning
• Proficiency in application related performance and tuning,
