Job Description:

Must Haves:

• Design, develop, and maintain Kafka topics, producers, consumers, and streaming applications.
• Implement data pipelines for real-time ingestion, processing, and delivery of data.
• Integrate Kafka with various data sources, sinks, and analytics platforms.
• Optimize Kafka clusters for scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Manage Kafka configurations, partitions, replication, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and architects to design event-driven systems.
• Troubleshoot issues in Kafka clusters and ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
• Implement schema management using Confluent Schema Registry (Avro/Protobuf/JSON).
• Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance in Kafka implementations. ? Develop and maintain documentation and best practices for Kafka usage.
• 5 years of experience working with Apache Kafka (or Confluent Kafka).
• Strong proficiency in Python for developing Kafka applications.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, and Schema Registry.
