EUS L3 Administrator / Engineer (App Packaging, SCCM, POS/Posplus)
Role Overview
The EUS L3 Administrator is responsible for advanced support, management, and optimization of enduser computing services. This includes application packaging and deployment, SCCM administration, and POS/Posplus systems. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to resolve complex issues independently while ensuring seamless enduser experience across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L3 support for escalated incidents related to enduser computing, app packaging, SCCM, and POS/Posplus.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft SCCM for software distribution, patch management, and OS deployment.
- Create, test, and deploy application packages (MSI, AppV, Intune, etc.) ensuring compatibility and compliance.
- Administer and optimize POS/Posplus systems for retail or enterprise environments.
- Perform patching, upgrades, and configuration management across enduser systems.
- Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization for SCCM and packaging workflows.
- Implement automation scripts (PowerShell, VBScript, or Python) to streamline repetitive tasks.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure smooth delivery of enduser services.
- Lead root cause analysis for critical incidents and document resolutions.
- Maintain knowledge base and documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
Required Skills & Experience
- 712 years of experience in End User Services administration with strong L3 expertise.
- Handson experience with SCCM administration (software distribution, patching, OS deployment).
- Strong knowledge of application packaging tools and techniques (MSI, AppV, Intune, InstallShield).
- Expertise in POS/Posplus systems including deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Experience with Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Group Policy.
- Familiarity with MDT, Intune, and modern device management.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of enduser security, compliance, and patch management standards.
- Ability to lead critical incident resolution and mentor junior administrators.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: MCSA/MCSE (Windows), Microsoft Certified Endpoint Administrator, ITIL Foundation.
- Experience with cloudbased endpoint management (Intune, Autopilot).
- Exposure to monitoring tools (SCCM reports, SCOM, Splunk).
- Knowledge of ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management
