Job Title: Dynamics 365 Finance, Commerce & SCM Analyst (Power BI Expert)


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our team as a Dynamics 365 Finance, Commerce & Supply Chain Management (SCM) Analyst with Power BI expertise. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing our D365 ecosystem, driving business insights through data analytics, and enhancing decision-making across Finance, Retail (Commerce), and Supply Chain operations. You will play a key role in system configuration, process improvement, and delivering high-impact Power BI dashboards and reports.


Key Responsibilities:


1. D365 Implementation & Support:

  • Configure, maintain, and enhance Dynamics 365 Finance, Commerce, and SCM modules in line with business requirements.
  • Provide functional and technical support for end-users, addressing issues related to workflows, data integrity, and system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system improvements and integrations.

2. Power BI Reporting & Analytics:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics across Finance, Commerce, and SCM.
  • Extract and transform data from D365, Azure, or other data sources to create actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in all reporting outputs.

3. Process Optimization & Business Intelligence:

  • Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions within D365 and Power BI.
  • Automate reporting and data workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support data-driven decision-making by providing clear, timely, and relevant insights to leadership and departmental teams.

4. Collaboration & Training:

  • Work closely with Finance, Retail, Supply Chain, and IT teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users on D365 functionality and Power BI tools.
  • Document system configurations, report logic, and processes for knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Commerce, and Supply Chain Management (implementation, support, or functional consultancy).
  • Strong expertise in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, dashboard design, and data connectivity (D365, SQL, Azure, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of Finance processes (GL, AP, AR, budgeting) and Supply Chain/Commerce workflows (inventory, procurement, sales, retail operations).
  • Experience with data integration between D365 and external platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Finance, SCM, or Commerce and/or Power BI.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, SQL, Power Automate, or Power Apps.
  • Knowledge of retail or e-commerce operations in a D365 Commerce environment.
  • Proven experience in a minimum of two end-to-end (full lifecycle) project implementations.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics and predictive modeling in Power BI.
