The Role
Around the world, data is being generated at an exponential rate. Many government agencies and commercial institutions worldwide have made investments in data platforms but still struggle to make data-driven decision-making a reality at the scale of their business. Palantir’s software helps these organizations transform data and models into operational assets, empowering them to solve their most critical problems. As Technical Account Manager (TAM) you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers extract the maximum benefit from Palantir Foundry. This is a senior and key role for ensuring customer success with Palantir Foundry and a strong lasting relationship with Palantir.
As a part of the Sales organization you will play a pivotal role in ensuring sustainable results from Sales to Delivery. You will have a direct role in defining the strategy, architecture and technical solutions that allow some of the leading world organizations to use data to solve real-world problems. Customer focused, you will understand their business strategy and challenges, and their unique technical landscape as it evolves and act as a trusted advisor to enhance business benefits. You will collaborate with the customer and Palantir engagement organizations to maximize how Palantir Foundry accelerates the customer strategy and secures their return on investments.Core ResponsibilitiesIn coordination with Sales Team, responsible for crafting the implementation architectures for the account, and securing their acceptance by IT. You will also proactively drive IT/tech-centric activity for business expansion.In coordination with Palantir Architecture teams, define, communicate and drive Palantir positioning within the competitive and partnership landscape of the account.In coordination with Delivery Team, drive product adoption and value within the account, help sustain platform and solution stability, performance and value, and increase customer satisfaction with Palantir.Proactively engage with and act as focal point for Enterprise IT key stakeholders, specifically regarding their IT strategy and Foundry integration and interoperability.What We ValueProven track record of delivering and integrating digital solutions at government or commercial institutions.Strong experience and knowledge of common industry cloud and/or data platforms, technologies & concepts.Wide knowledge of enterprise IT landscapes and systems (ERP, CRM, MES, DMS, ESB…).Excellent communication skills. Ability to compellingly articulate Palantir’s product offering to audiences with varying levels of technical skill and seniority.Ability to understand customers’ requirements and context and how Palantir’s software can fit in.Demonstrated technical skills and a love of getting things done and finding solutions.Experience building and managing relationships, and collaborating with internal partners and external counterparts.Ability to travel per business needs.Note that deep knowledge of Palantir Foundry will be a key success factor for this role over time but training on Palantir Foundry can be provided as part of on-boarding.
