The Role
Around the world, data is being generated at an exponential rate, and many government agencies and commercial institutions worldwide are ill-equipped to handle data at scale. Palantir’s software helps these organizations build data assets that enables efficient analysis and more effective management of their data, empowering them to solve their most critical problems.
The Sales Team is responsible for getting Palantir’s software to these organizations. As a Partnerships Manager, you will work hand in hand across our Global Partnerships Eco-System to find, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities. Each Partner is different and each Partnerships Manager see these distinctions as opportunities — for creative thinking, diligent research, and value creation. A successful Partnerships Manager tailors their approach to each unique opportunity.
Armed with a deep knowledge of the product and its real-world applicability, you will cultivate existing relationships and work diligently to build new ones. You are motivated by the knowledge that the software Palantir sells is directly responsible for uncovering fraud, stopping wrongdoing, and saving lives.Core ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with Palantir leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for growing the company’s presence in financial services through our Global Partnerships Eco-System.Own and manage relationships with Palantir’s Global Partners to drive new leads and business opportunities, collaborating with internal teams to determine goals and targets. Serve as the key point of contact between Palantir and our Global Partnerships and represent our Sales Team at industry events and conferences. Develop deep familiarity with Palantir’s software platforms and how they can be used to solve a wide range of real-world problems. Support the Sales Team in exceeding the sales quota by helping win enterprise contracts. Work with the other Sales Team members to improve and streamline internal processes. What We ValueProven track record of managing relationships (Hyper Scalers, Systems Integrators, Consultancies or Commercial Institutions) to support the creation of revenue.Intricate familiarity with Hyper Scalers, Systems Integrators or Consultancies.Ability to compellingly articulate Palantir’s product offering to audiences with varying levels of technical skill and seniority using excellent communication skills.Familiarity with the Commercial Institutions across various industries, including Investment Banking, Commercial Banking and Retail Banking, Health, Defense, Energy & Utilities, Retail & CPG. Ability to understand how Hyper Scalers, Systems Integrators, Consultancies can support revenue growth.Demonstrated project management and problem solving skills with an ability to stay organized.Experience building and managing relationships to collaborate with internal and external counterparts; can effectively run meetings and push for progression with stakeholders.Ability to travel (50%+) per business needs.To ApplyPlease submit a cover letter and resume along with a record of your sales experience, including the size of the deals you have closed (feel free to use X for the values you are not able to disclose; for instance, $XX million).
