The Role
Palantir Technologies’ seeks a versatile Marketing Manager to help build and execute a marketing and communications strategy to support our go-to-market success in Canada.
As the first marketing hire in Canada, you will lead the creation and execution of a go-to-market plan focused on creating leads, opportunities, pipeline, and revenue for our Canadian public sector team with a strong product offering in ever-changing markets. Working in close collaboration with the broader organization, you will build a comprehensive marketing plan to reach your target customers and prospects and drive demand through events, traditional lead generation campaigns, and other integrated marketing programs in Canada.
As a Marketing Manager, you’ll need to play a diverse set of roles, from crafting content yourself, through to supporting events and defining and executing against account-based marketing and digital marketing strategies. In this role, you will work closely with Palantir’s Sales and Leadership teams for Canada, along with a cross-functional team of demand generation, content, sales, design, business development representatives and more – the team is growing fast, and you are joining at a key time to help shape it!
This role is an opportunity to embed deeply in a unique company with a highly technical environment. You’ll be expected to keep up to date with our software products and effectively message their features, their value, and the emergent transformation they provide to our current and potential clients. You’ll also be expected to calibrate a room of peers and/or stakeholders to achieve alignment and pull levers to generate revenue. The role and its surrounding organization aren’t rigidly defined and are evolving fast, so it’s important that you can navigate an unstructured environment with savvy.Core ResponsibilitiesCreate and execute against integrated marketing and account-based marketing campaigns using tactics that include live events, thought-leadership/insightful content offers, webinars, and digital campaigns.Integrate and partner with Sales teams in their achievement of top line revenue goals, to include the crafting of bespoke content such as white papers, one pagers, and customer testimonials. Build and execute a go-to-market strategy to achieve pipeline targets.Source and prioritize investments in events, campaigns and other marketing programs to reach goals.Be accountable for and propel the flow of leads to support the sales goals.Create a cadence of regular reporting to track performance and measure Return on Investment, and adjust as needed.Collaborate with the Palantir’s Demand Generation, Campaigns, Events, Operations and Product Marketing teams to achieve goals.What We Value3+ years experience developing and deploying product marketing content for Enterprise SaaS solutions in either of field marketing or communications capacity. Strong preference for prior experience marketing to public sector, in particular health and/or defense customers. Demonstrated experience with content creation, events, account-based marketing, and digital campaigns. Ability to self-motivate and work autonomously, while effectively collaborating with a cross-functional and geographically dispersed team. Demonstrated experience leveraging strong operational and project management skills to efficiently manage multiple simultaneous project requests under tight deadlines in a constantly shifting landscape.Ability to quickly adapt to and grasp new systems and tools for campaign building, execution, and reporting (e.g. Microsoft Office, Adobe, Contentful, Marketo, Salesforce.com, etc.).Sound judgment and composure in high-pressure situations, with an ability to display discretion and integrity in all interactions.Fluency in French is an asset but not required.Ability and willingness to travel up to 25-40% to other Palantir offices and external marketing events as needed.To ApplyPlease submit a resume/CV using the “Attach Resume/CV” option on the Lever application page.
