Palantir’s in-house legal team works to proactively address legal issues so that Palantir can continue to drive positive impact in the world. As Commercial Counsel – Partnerships, you will be responsible for helping to support our rapidly growing go-to-market strategy involving channel partnerships, OEM resellers, and other teaming arrangements with systems integrators and technology providers. You will serve the integral functions of crafting revenue-generating partnership deal structures, driving negotiations with counterparties, and continually iterating to improve contract templates and scalable processes to help Palantir’s business teams unlock a rapidly growing constellation of opportunities. This is a strategically important role to help Palantir achieve its goals at a time of dynamic growth.

You are passionate about conceiving and implementing scalable systems that increase your impact, and that of the Commercial legal team.Core ResponsibilitiesLead drafting and negotiation of partnership, OEM reseller, and other SaaS agreements.Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes.Assist in defining and building processes to effectively deliver legal support in a scalable manner to Palantir’s rapidly expanding portfolio of partnerships.Collaborate closely with Business, Operations, Finance, and Engineering teams to shepherd deals to completion.What We ValueAttorney in good standing, licensed in at least one state in the United States or the United Kingdom.3-5 years of commercial contracting or technology transactions experience. Prior experience working in-house preferred, ideally at a high-growth SaaS company.Ability to manage nuanced commercial transactions, including the negotiation of SaaS, licensing, and partnership or collaboration agreements involving resale of software or other technology. Additional familiarity with data privacy agreements is a plus.Ability to collaborate with a cross-functional team, using effective communication, strong writing and customer service skills.Demonstrated ability developing creative and analytical solutions to novel problems, while driving a portfolio of projects with minimal direction.Interest and skill in developing scalable legal infrastructure.Willingness to travel and work flexibly on a varied schedule based on the needs of the team, including calls at odd hours and on weekends as needed.Palantir is committed to promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion and is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
