The Role
Palantir Technologies’ seeks a Channel Partner Manager to help build and manage strategic relationships with Global System Integrators, Cloud Solution Providers (CSPs), and Value Added Resellers (VARs) in Canada.
As the Channel Partner Manager for Canada, you will help partners drive business using Palantir software products and will act as a trusted advisor in the journey of identifying new opportunities, developing capabilities, solutions and service offerings along with our partners. You will also be responsible for partnerships related to the social benefit our software solutions provide to Canadian communities.
In this role, you will define and implement business development strategies with global and local partners across the entire range of Palantir products and services. You’ll define the solution strategy, work with cross-functional teams, foster critical relationships within the partner ecosystems and showcase Palantir’s technology to our partners and customers.
Additionally, you’ll partner with Sales, Product, Legal, Compliance and Enablement teams to ensure success of the channel and will work to leverage your experience to transform large organizations with Palantir Technologies. Core ResponsibilitiesBuild pipeline by collaborating with the Canadian Sales Team, and Global System Integrators, Cloud Solution Providers (CSPs), and Value Added Resellers (VARs) based in Canada, to understand the needs of our customers and deliver a creative and optimal solution for our customers using Palantir software.Identify and engage on opportunities for expanding the social benefit of Palantir software solutions via partnerships with post-secondary institutions, research and development institutes, small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), and Indigenous businesses.Develop business development plans with a clear set of priorities, joint initiatives and specific goals for growing customer pipeline, wins, and consumption; communicate strategy to executive-level stakeholders across Sales and Engineering.Work with our partner delivery team in building the ecosystem and constant pipeline of resources to deliver proof of concepts and implementations.Manage the channel process, setting performance metrics, forecasting and reporting Business Development growth to company leadership. Conduct sales enablement sessions for our strategic partners’ Sales and Presales teams.What We Value10+ years of experience in strategy consulting, enterprise sales and/or business development and at least 5 of those years working with a top Global System Integrator or major Cloud Solution Provider. Demonstrated success: (a) selling GSI solutions to enterprise customers by designing and building go-to-market models and navigating Sales and Delivery Teams onsite and offshore; (b) building a joint GTM strategy and Co-Sell model in collaboration with a major Cloud Solution Provider; and/or (c) engaging a network of Canadian organizations as part of a winning value proposition for the social benefit of software solutions.A knowledge and understanding of Canada and its commercial and public sector landscape.Effective communication and presentation skills, with proven ability to articulate business problems and build diverse relationships at the personal and corporate level.Ability to work with and as part of a team, as well as comfortable working with a high degree of independence.Ability and willingness to travel up to 25-40% to other Palantir offices and external meetings needed.PreferredExperience using products in Data Analytics, ERPs and Business Process Flows and applicability across different industry segments is a plus.Fluency in French is an asset but not required.Palantir is committed to promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
