The Client Experience Management (CEM) team works with the BlackRock client businesses to ensure that the servicing needs of our clients are understood and aligned with the operational teams across BlackRock. CEM is responsible for ensuring that BlackRock’s operational service offering continues to evolve in line with industry and client trends with the goal of offering our clients outstanding leading operational excellence. In addition, the team is responsible for driving and delivering the daily client experience and servicing client needs through interaction with various teams across the firm.

Responsibilities:

To support North Asia institutional clients who have appointed BlackRock to run their segregated portfolios with a focus on Hong Kong and Taiwan clients.
To field requests from clients. Use BlackRock network resource fully while handling client expectations on delivery timeline, and to ensure client queries are handled with due care and always with consideration of their needs and expectations
To be a liaison between the Client Business and the local, regional and global operational teams to improve the quality of the client service experience and engage the operational resources of the firm to meet client’s needs.
To complete assignments following established procedures and standard methodologies under minimal direction and encouraged to use independent judgement.

Knowledge/experience:

Prior experience in the asset management industry with exposure to a variety of operational and client service functions
Able to develop strong working relationships with key client business and operations partners
Able to work with internal and external parties proactively to resolve and raise issues effectively
Attention to detail, strong comprehension skills, lateral thinking and problem solving capabilities
Able to use facts in decision making process while working under critical timeline
Acts with integrity and with the desire to do the right things for clients
Team base mind-set, positive attitude and willing to take constructive feedback
Able to work independently and prioritize while multi-tasking
Demonstrate diligence and self-discipline
Strong presentation skills and ability to adapt to audience at all corporate levels
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal in both Chinese and English
Senior Securities Specialist or Securities Investment Trust and Consulting Professionals licenses is required
Excellent PC skills:MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
