We are looking for an Administrative Assistant for Technology & Operations. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrative professional ready for their next challenge in a multifaceted global financial services firm.

Your team
You will join BlackRock as a member of the Technology & Operations COO team to support two senior leaders. With more than 4,000 full time employees globally, Technology & Operations is one of the largest and most exciting businesses at the firm.
Our business is responsible for the end-to-end management of BlackRock’s operating and technology platforms. This includes providing services that impact the product and trade lifecycle, as well as the client and employee experiences.

Your role and impact
As a key partner to COO for Technology & Operations, you will frequently find yourself in the center of everything and are pivotal to the success of the organization!
Location: New York, Delaware or Atlanta. BlackRock currently operates in a hybrid model with employees working out of an office at least 3 days each week on average.

Your responsibilities

Assisting the COO in prioritizing and managing their daily activities, which includes handling a constantly evolving calendar

Communicating and developing relationships with both external and internal partners on behalf of the COO

Planning a variety of executive level meetings, reserving conference rooms, catering, multimedia and other crucial meeting services

Supporting organizational activities and large-scale global events such as town halls, leadership off-sites or strategy sessions

Coordinating travel arrangements and managing expense reports

Building relationships and partnering with the broader COO community and other assistants in Technology & Operations and across the firm

Helping with ad-hoc projects as needed

You have…

A proven record of helping organize presentation material and supporting content creation for senior executives

Experience organizing with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines

Strong collaboration skills and can work cross-functionally in a hybrid work environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to adapt communication style as needed

Teaming mindset and are a relationship builder – internally and externally

A desire to learn and be proficient in MS 365 applications

A strong understanding of and ability to use meeting technologies and collaboration tools

a background in financial services (preferred)
