About Index & Data Solutions (IDS)
The Index & Data Solutions team (IDS) is responsible for securing the index and data needed to power most of the firm’s investments and most strategic initiatives.  The team manages relationships with over 400 of the industry’s data providers with a focus on fostering & maintaining strong partnerships with the largest and most strategic providers.  To do this well, IDS also works closely with key internal business stakeholders to ensure we maintain strong alignment on strategy and partner effectively to resolve challenges. 

IDS is comprised of three functions: Relationship Management, Operations and COO & Governance. The team is looking for a Business and Project Manager to join the COO & Governance function with experience creating a climate of inclusion, trust, and productivity. The best candidate for this role will understand the importance of our firm’s culture & principles and how to “connect the dots” across businesses & functions across the firm to achieve IDS objectives and execute our long-term strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive the effective execution of key IDS process improvement and technology initiatives

Partner closely with Finance during the budget planning process and forecasts

Work regularly with HR business partners to ensure IDS talent & recruiting processes have a strong focus on diversity equity and inclusion

Lead IDS culture initiatives that drive continuous improvement in employee experience and sentiment

Perform standard business management responsibilities such as managing the agenda for IDS ExCo’s and town halls, as well as department communications and presentations

Act as the main point of contact during Internal Audits, BCM planning and regulatory requests

Required Education, Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree preferably in finance, business, economics or related area

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a business manager or similar role

Experience leading successful cross-functional technical projects

Experience leading technology and process reengineering projects

Exceptional presentation and communication skills

Preferred Education, Skills & Experience:  

Project management certification

Knowledge of the financial services and market data industry

Experience supporting market data teams and processes
