Business Unit Overview:
The International Cash Management Group manages a suite of products that includes Prime and Government Money Market and Ultra-Short Duration Mutual funds and Separate Accounts). Job Purpose/Background/Responsibilities:
The International Cash Management Group APAC Sales team is seeking a junior client support and relationship manager to support building and maintaining relationships with clients across Asia Pacific, based in Singapore.

The successful candidate will, in particular, be responsible for providing the APAC sales team with support in growing the Cash Management Group’s presence in region, helping to manage relationships with clients, preparing both internal and external sales enablement materials and ensuring the effective running of the sales business for the team by maintaining information in the CRM systems and executing reporting requirements.  In addition, the successful client will manage the client onboarding process working closely with the Transfer agent, Cash Portal Services team for Online trading access and become a subject matter expert in day to day operations of the Cash Management business including handholding AML and regulatory procedures.
The role will bring the individual into regular contact with stakeholders across the BlackRock business. Close interaction with all Cash business functions (Wider sales support team, Product Strategy, COO, Marketing and Portfolio Management) will be expected, as well as with other key businesses within BlackRock – counterparts in the Client Business sales teams, Legal and Compliance etc.
Primary responsibilities include:

Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

Support the sales leads with preparation for internal and external client meetings to build relationships with new and existing accounts

Work to coordinate efforts with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that during the new business account onboarding process, client needs are fulfilled effectively

Manage and maintain regulatory policies and procedures to ensure the business is compliant

Escalate and resolve areas of concern as raised by clients

Provide analysis of the competitor landscape and market potential, track sales and management status reports

Maintain CRM systems, sales pipeline and ensuring best practice record management across the sales function

Recalibrate the Financial reporting for APAC Cash Management Group and circulate with the necessary stakeholders

Knowledge / Experience Required:

Preferred minimum 2-3 years of experience with client onboarding and relationship management background with an organised approach to work

Knowledge of financial markets and understanding of the asset management industry

Presentation and written communication skills

Interpersonal skills to help foster an inclusive culture of teamwork and knowledge sharing

Fluency in Mandarin and English required. Other Asian language skills desirable.
