What team will you be on?
The Cash Management Group (CMG) at BlackRock offers a wide range of products and custom solutions to fit clients’ needs that includes securities lending, cash collateral, sweep activity and separate accounts. BlackRock’s cash management style is designed to meet each client’s objectives of capital preservation, liquidity, and yield – in that order.

BlackRock and its predecessor companies have been involved in the management of Money Market Funds (MMFs) since 1973, and today, BlackRock’s Cash Management Group (CMG) a business division within the Lending and Liquidity Strategies (LLS) group is one of the world’s largest providers of cash management solutions to institutional and retail investors and manages approximately $725 billion (as of 3/31/2022) in cash assets globally.

Today, our business provides solutions either directly or through intermediary partners for institutional and retail clients in more than 60 countries.

Why is your role meaningful?
Within our US Sales team, we seek a salesperson to engage in our sales efforts covering corporate treasury, universities, municipalities, and other Institutional distribution channels within the greater New York / Tri-State area. You will have an opportunity to lead the relationship on the balance sheet cash front and have the opportunity to deliver all of BlackRock to clients!

What will you be doing?

Sourcing of new business opportunities within the Corporate treasury and Institutional sector via engagement on balance sheet cash pools, while engaging with internal resources to build relationships and referral networks

Delivering a deep understanding of liquidity product offerings including money mark mutual funds, SMA’s and other short-term investment options

Travel (when safe/appropriate) to attend client and prospect meetings together with industry conferences and events

What are we looking for?

Strong and established sales and relationship management background, with proven experience with Corporate and Institutional investors in the liquidity markets

An understanding of broader market, economic and industry / regulatory landscape affecting client investment activities, along with an acuity of fixed income market securities

Experience in a sales and business development role within a team first framework

An ability to access existing relationships

Series 7 and 63 required
