Job Title : Vice President, Talent Insights Partner

Location : Atlanta, US

Job Category: Marketing & Communications

About this role

BlackRock’s Analytics Insights and Research (AIR) team develops in-depth and impactful analyses, insights, and recommendations that help drive the firm’s talent, diversity, employee engagement, and hiring agendas. We are proud to partner with business leaders in pursuit of better people decisions, by applying the same type of sophisticated analysis we do for investment decisions.
Talent Insights Partners work closely with BlackRock leaders to analyze and interpret human capital data in support of BlackRock’s strategic talent initiatives. We are looking to add a Vice President to the team, who will lead analytics and insights focused on our Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning, and related Talent Analytics agenda. This will include designing and co-owning metrics and analytical strategies that help accelerate progress toward our goals, and inform ongoing strategy development.

Are you passionate about applying best-in-class analytical methodologies to expand the impact, engagement, and enablement of diverse talent? We look forward to talking with you about this exciting opportunity!
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and developing insights and recommendations related to the effectiveness of our talent and diversity strategy, and its impact on our employees’ experience. This will require expertise developing and writing queries to analyze data, performing trend analyses, identifying data discrepancies, and delivering insights. As we continue to bring together various people analytics data sources, you will have the opportunity to derive insights by linking and analyzing large datasets across talent management, recruiting, promotion, employee experience, compensation, etc.
In order to turn data analyses into impactful initiatives, you will need to establish productive and collaborative partnerships with HR and business leaders, develop and test hypotheses, execute sophisticated analyses, and present clear and meaningful findings to senior leaders throughout the firm.

Bachelor’s degree (Masters in I/O Psychology, Economics or other research related field preferred)
4-6 years experience in People Analytics or employee related research
Excellent analytical skills – ability to analyze large datasets, detect and correct errors, apply multivariate statistical methods, interpret, and develop recommendations
Proficient in the use of R / Python, SPSS or other scripting languages to provide insights on people research problems in organizations
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience presenting in front of senior leaders (ability to transform complex analyses into a simple story)
Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to proactively anticipate problems and opportunities
Knowledge of Workday and Qualtrics is a plus (preferred)

Our benefits
To help you stay energized, engaged and inspired, we offer a wide range of benefits including a strong retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, comprehensive healthcare, support for working parents and Flexible Time Off (FTO) so you can relax, recharge and be there for the people you care about.

Our hybrid work pilot

BlackRock’s current hybrid work pilot is designed to help you experience the best of both worlds: the opportunity to connect with colleagues in person and the flexibility to work remotely, with greater time to focus on what’s important to you. In line with local health guidance and regulations, employees are generally expected to work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home (on average) each week. For some business groups, more time may be required in the office, while greater flexibility may be in place for others. Our “One BlackRock” culture means you’ll be supported to collaborate with your new colleagues while bringing your full self to work – wherever you are.

The health, safety and well-being of our people will always be our top priorities; we will continue to monitor local conditions and health advisories in making decisions about our work environments.

About BlackRock

At BlackRock, we are all connected by one mission: to help more and more people experience financial well-being.  Our clients, and the people they serve, are saving for retirement, paying for their children’s educations, buying homes and starting businesses. Their investments also help to strengthen the global economy: support businesses small and large; finance infrastructure projects that connect and power cities; and facilitate innovations that drive progress.

This mission would not be possible without our smartest investment – the one we make in our employees. It’s why we’re dedicated to creating an environment where our colleagues feel welcomed, valued and supported with networks, benefits and development opportunities to help them thrive.
